Description

Cardamom is native to the evergreen forests of India. It is known in Kannada as elakki (ಏಲಕ್ಕಿ), Telugu yelakulu (యేలకులు), Tamil elakkai (ஏலக்காய்) and Malayalam elakkay (ഏലക്കായ്). Popularly used as flavorings and cooking spices in both food and drink and as a medicine.  This spice is commonly used in Indian cuisine, but it is also used in Ayurvedic medicine as a treatment for mouth ulcers, digestive problems, and even depression.

Cardamom , sometimes cardamon or cardamum, is a spice made from the seeds of several plants in the genera Elettaria and Amomum in the family Zingiberaceae. Both genera are native to the Indian subcontinent and Indonesia.

Many Indian and Indian-inspired dishes call for cardamom, including curry dishes, Kheer (Indian rice pudding), and chai. Indian spice blends such as garam masala also feature cardamom. You'll also find cardamom adds warmth and depth to baked goods such as cookies, bread pudding, and even cheesecake

According to a lot of studies, excessive cardamom intake has shown a lot of problems with male fertility. Many people have complained about impotent behaviour in the body because of cardamom.

It may lower blood pressure, improve breathing and aid weight loss.,

cardamom may help fight tumors, improve anxiety, fight bacteria and protect your liver, though the evidence in these cases is less strong.
